Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club’s mission is to provide all youth in the greater Roaring Fork Valley the opportunity to excel as athletes and as people through winter sports.
Started in 1937, AVSC is Aspen’s oldest nonprofit and the nation’s largest ski and snowboard club. Each year, AVSC serves roughly 3,000 young athletes from all over the Roaring Fork Valley. In addition to a large recreational program, we have four competitive programs: Alpine, Freestyle, Nordic, and Snowboard. All of our programs are subsidized, thanks to our generous donors and the impact of the Audi Ajax Cup. Many of our athletes (approximately 1 in 3) benefit from our scholarship program.
